The PM said that land and house play a big role in the development of the country. When there is a record of property, confidence increases among the citizens. So far, more than 1.25 crore property cards have been prepared.

What are property cards?

Property cards are prepared under the ownership scheme. Under this scheme, land records are prepared digitally in rural areas. In this, people are given the right to ownership of land, so that land disputes can be reduced. Also, the objective of the scheme is to clarify the ownership of land, so that farmers can get loans easily. In this scheme, ownership rights are clarified by using drone survey, GIS and other modern technology.

What are the benefits of property card?

The property card has ensured clear ownership of property in villages. In this, drone technology is used to map land and boundaries. This determines the ownership of every land. This scheme has given legal ownership of ancestral land to lakhs of farmers. This has empowered the farmers. They can now easily take loans for future needs. This scheme has created a sense of security and financial independence among the farmers.
