There is important news for the beneficiary women of Ladki Bahin Yojana. Tomorrow is the last date for getting the e-KYC done for Ladki Bahin Yojana of Maharashtra. According to the state government, the beneficiary women of Ladki Bahin Yojana will have to get the e-KYC done by tomorrow i.e. 18th November.
If the women do not do so, they will not get Rs. 1500. Under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, Rs. 1500 is given every month to the beneficiary women of Maharashtra. The government has made it clear that after 18th November 2025, whose e- KYC is not completed, their money will be automatically stopped. This money is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the women. 1 crore women of Maharashtra are associated with the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
Women have to complete e-KYC by November 18
Ladki Behen Yojana was passed in June 2024. Now the government has told all the beneficiaries that if the e-KYC is not completed on time, the payment may have to be stopped.
Why is e-KYC mandatory?
According to the government, e-KYC is necessary to ensure that benefits reach the correct beneficiaries and avoid fake or double entries.

In its September 2025 order, the government stated that Aadhaar authentication is mandatory under Section 7 of the Aadhaar Act 2016 to ensure that subsidies and benefits reach the rightful recipients. UIDAI has granted the Department of Women and Child Development Sub-AUA/Sub-KUA status, meaning the department can perform Aadhaar verification on its own. Therefore, the e-KYC feature has been added to the scheme’s website .
How to do e-KYC for Ladki Behen Yojana ?
Beneficiaries can do e-KYC sitting at home in just a few minutes.

Visit the official website of the scheme

Step 2
Click on the e-KYC option visible on the homepage .
Step 3
Enter Aadhaar number, fill captcha and click on Send OTP .
Step 4
The system will first check whether your e-KYC is already complete or not.
If it is complete, you will get the message – e-KYC already completed
Step 5
If Aadhaar is not in the eligible list of the scheme, a message will appear on the screen.
Your Aadhaar is not in the eligible list of this scheme.
Step 6
Once you receive the OTP , enter it and submit.
Step 7
Now enter the Aadhaar number of the husband or father, fill the captcha, give consent and click on Send OTP .
Enter the OTP received on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number of your husband or father and submit.
Step 8
Thereafter the beneficiary
You will have to select your caste category
Yes/No will have to be done on two declarations .
There is no government employee or pensioner in the family
Only 1 married and 1 unmarried woman in the family are taking benefit.
A message will appear upon submission.
Success – Your e-KYC verification has been successfully completed.
