PNB : Punjab National Bank on Monday launched a new debit card called PNB Antardrishti Braille Debit Card. This card is specially designed to help visually impaired customers.
It has contrasting colours, making it easy to identify and the card details are readable for visually impaired people. According to a Bhasha News report, this contactless NCMC (National Common Mobility Card) debit card aims to provide great convenience to visually impaired users.
The card comes with these features
PNB’s Antardrishti Braille Debit Card is meant to make life simpler and more independent for the visually impaired. It gives the visually impaired confidence and convenience in handling their money. The card has raised Braille dots that spell out “PNB”. This makes the card distinguishable from other bank cards. The welcome kit also comes in Braille. There is also a round notch on the opposite side of the chip that helps users to insert it correctly in ATMs and POS machines.
You will be able to withdraw this much money
This PNB debit card is designed with glossy spot UV lamination and embossed texture on the bank’s logo. Also, there is silk screen rough spot UV on the contactless symbol. This makes it easier for visually impaired customers to recognise the bank’s logo and read the contactless symbol. The contrasting colours of the card help these customers to recognise the card details more effectively.
The PNB Antardrishti Braille Debit Card can be obtained from any nearest PNB branch. It has a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 and a daily combined POS/e-commerce limit of Rs 60,000. Additionally, contactless transactions of up to Rs 5,000 per day can be done without PIN at NFC-enabled POS terminals.
