The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Bihar and Assam and Meghalaya today (August 12).

A yellow alert has been issued for both the days. The maximum temperature during this period can be 32 to 33 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 27 to 28 degrees. After this, the rain will become light from August 16 and 17. Clouds can remain. Due to lack of rain, humid heat will return.

25 people swept away by heavy rains in Rajasthan

Heavy rains have caused havoc in Rajasthan. Many areas of the state have been submerged. Due to torrential rains, people are floating like straws. Due to heavy rains in many areas including Jaipur, Bharatpur, Karauli and Hindaun on Sunday, more than 25 people were swept away in rivers, drains and dams. They died due to this. The Meteorological Department has predicted torrential rains in Dausa, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk today (12 August). Orange alert has been issued for this. Along with this, heavy rain warning has been issued in 11 districts. Schools have been closed in six districts including Jaipur.

Monsoon has once again become active in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has forecast one to two rounds of heavy rain in most districts for three days. An orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain in Chamoli and Bageshwar. While there is a yellow alert for other districts including Dehradun.
