Weather Alert! Heavy rains in this state for two consecutive days, warning for these areas this evening

The weather has once again taken a turn for the worse in the country. There is a cyclonic circulation at some places and a western disturbance is active at some places, due to which dark clouds will cover the sky in many states and there will be heavy rain. Along with this, strong winds will also blow. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding rain.

According to IMD, day temperatures have increased by 1-3 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours in Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and North Telangana, while temperatures have fallen by 1-3 degrees Celsius in East Rajasthan, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department said that a new Western Disturbance is forming over the hills. Due to its influence, light rain and snowfall is also likely in Uttarakhand on February 19-20. Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh are likely to receive heavy rain from February 19 to 20.

The Meteorological Department said that a cyclone is forming in Nagaland and surrounding areas at a height of 1.5 km above sea level, due to which there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain and snowfall in northeast India till February 21. The possibility of thunderstorm has also been expressed in many states of the northeast on February 19. Heavy rain is likely in Assam and Meghalaya on February 19. Light to moderate rain is likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for the next 7 days.
