Schools up to 8th class closed till January 14 due to cold wave, orders issued

School Closed: It is extremely cold in Uttar Pradesh and due to the cold wave, the temperature in Ayodhya has dropped to 5 degrees. Meanwhile, the District Magistrate’s office of Ayodhya has issued orders regarding schools. In fact, schools up to class 8 have been closed due to the cold.

Two western disturbances in Jammu and Kashmir are likely to worsen the situation in North India due to rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather on Saturday. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi NCR in the next 48 hours. The weather in Punjab may change from this evening.

Due to snowfall and westerly winds in the Himalayan mountains including Himachal, Uttarakhand, the melting process has increased once again in North India including Uttar Pradesh. There has been a sharp drop in the maximum temperature in Ayodhya. The minimum temperature has fallen to 5 degrees Celsius. Which is 2 degrees Celsius lower than normal. Apart from this, a sharp drop was also recorded in the maximum temperature of the day. On Friday, the maximum temperature of Ayodhya was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius. Which is 8 degrees Celsius lower than normal.

Normal life has been badly affected due to cold in the entire district. In view of the cold, Ayodhya DM Chandra Vijay Singh has ordered all schools up to class 8 to remain closed till January 14. According to the Meteorological Department, people will have to face severe cold for the next few days. The department has issued a cold day alert for the coming days. DM Chandra Vijay Singh has ordered schools up to class 8 to remain closed from January 4 to 14 due to cold.

Cold wave will continue

Dr. Amarnath Mishra, meteorologist at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University, says that on Friday the maximum temperature dropped to 12 degrees and the minimum to 5 degrees Celsius. Due to the sunshine, the possibility of dense fog has increased. At present, there is little hope of getting relief from the cold.
