Public Holiday: Good news! Holiday declared in seven states on July 10, schools, colleges, banks and offices will remain closed

School, College and Bank Closed: Due to by-elections being held on 13 assembly seats in seven states of the country, holiday has been declared on July 10. Voting is going to be held here on July 10 and counting of votes will be done on July 13.

Due to this, there will be a holiday in the election areas of Uttarakhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. The Election Commission has already issued guidelines for this.

In view of the voting for by-elections in three assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh, Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh, a gazetted holiday has been declared on July 10 for the employees of all government departments, boards, corporations, educational institutions and industrial units for the registered voters of these areas. Daily wage employees of these areas will also get paid leave on this day.

Holiday in Punjab and Uttarakhand too

The state spokesperson said that July 10 has been declared a special paid holiday for the registered voters of Punjab serving in Una, Kangra, Chamba and Solan districts due to the by-election in the Jalandhar Assembly constituency of Punjab and for the registered voters of Uttarakhand serving in Sirmaur and Shimla due to the by-election in the Badrinath and Mangalore Assembly constituencies of Uttarakhand.

Special paid leave has been declared for the voters registered in these states who are employed in government, semi-government and industrial units. Apart from this, there is a provision of special casual leave for the voters of these assembly constituencies who are working in other places.
