PM Kisan Update Notice: While farmers across the country are waiting for the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, the central government has made a big announcement. This news is being considered a relief for the farmers. Let’s know what the central government has said…

Actually, various rumors were spreading on media and social media about the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme. Some people were misleading the farmers by spreading wrong information. In response to this, the Central Government has issued an important notice on its official website. Through this notice, the government has cleared all the misunderstandings.

In a statement, the central government said that lakhs of farmers across the country have not applied as per the guidelines of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana. Many people are taking advantage of this scheme despite being ineligible. The government said that it has identified such suspicious cases. These include farmers who had acquired land ownership rights after February 1, 2019, or multiple members of the same family, such as husband, wife, elder family members, or minor children are taking advantage of this scheme. The central government has clearly said that this is illegal and has declared such persons ineligible. However, there is good news too.

The Centre has said that the removal of such farmers from the beneficiary list is temporary, not permanent. Physical verification will be done in these cases. After the verification is completed, the names of eligible farmers will be re-included, but the names of ineligible farmers will not be re-included.

The government has advised farmers benefiting under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana to immediately check their status whether their name is in the list or not and whether they are eligible for the scheme. Information about eligibility can be found in the Eligibility Status section of the official Pradhan Mantri Kisan website, https://pmkisan.gov.in . To check whether their name is in the list or has been removed, they can check it by visiting the Know Your Status (KYS) section. This information can also be obtained through the mobile app or Kisan Mitra chatbot.

The government has a solid reason behind this notice. Recently, the central government has removed the names of 35,44,213 farmers from the beneficiary list across the country. This includes lakhs of farmers from states like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Now these farmers will have to prove their eligibility. Those who are eligible can re-apply and upload the required documents. This can be done through mobile or from the nearest Meeseva Kendra.

As of now, the central government has not released the 21st installment of PM Kisan nor has it announced any official date. It is believed that a decision on this will be taken only after the Bihar assembly election results (November 14).

There has been no official announcement about the amount of the 21st installment as of now. The government is currently focusing on identifying ineligible farmers and cleaning the list. It is being told that about 50 lakh farmers can be declared ineligible. About 10 crore farmers across the country are beneficiaries of this scheme, and removing ineligible names will reduce the financial burden on the government.

Farmers should remain vigilant till the 21st installment is released. They should check their status regularly to ensure that their names are not mistakenly removed from the list. If this happens, they can immediately re-apply and prove their eligibility. The central government itself has issued this advisory to farmers on its website, so it is important for farmers to pay attention and monitor their status.
