Now news of relief for passengers has come from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport of Maharashtra. The check-in and reservation system of all airlines has now been fully operational.

SpiceJet’s check-in and reservation services are operational from 10 pm on July 19, 2024, Akasa’s check-in and reservation services are operational from 11:55 pm on July 19, 2024. Indigo’s check-in and reservation services are operational from 12:55 am on July 20, 2024. Air Asia’s check-in and reservation services are operational from 10:40 pm on July 19, 2024, Air India Express’ check-in and reservation services are operational from 7:45 pm on July 19, 2024.

The Mumbai airport administration said that passengers are advised to check the status of their flights on the airline’s website or mobile app. It is worth noting that the airline company IndiGo said that due to the global disruption, operational difficulties had arisen, which have almost been resolved. However, customers may still face delays and disruption in timetables during the weekend. Apart from airlines, the functioning of media, financial services and many other companies has also been affected due to this disruption by Microsoft.

According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, ‘The air system started functioning smoothly at all the airports of the country from 3 am today. Now flight operations are going smoothly. We are constantly monitoring the flight operations at the airports along with the refunds given by the airlines and adjustment of tickets. We are grateful for your patience. We hope that all the problems are over now.’
