According to a report by gujarati.news18.com, Amul Dairy has reduced the prices of three milk products – Amul Gold, Amul Taja and Tea Special by Rs 1 per litre. The price of a litre bag of Amul Gold was earlier Rs 66, which has now been reduced by Rs 1 to Rs 65. The price of a litre pouch of Amul Tea Special milk was Rs 62, which has now become Rs 61. Similarly, the price of Amul Taja milk was Rs 54 per litre, which has now been reduced by Rs 1 to Rs 53.
Prices were increased in June 2024.
Amul Dairy had increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per litre in June last year. After this increase, the price of 500 ml of Amul Gold has increased from Rs 32 to Rs 33. The price of one litre of Amul Gold has increased from Rs 64 to Rs 66, the price of Amul Taza 500 ml has increased from Rs 26 to Rs 27 and the price of Amul Shakti 500 ml has increased from Rs 29 to Rs 30. The new rates were implemented across the country from June 3.
Mother Dairy also increased the price of milk in Delhi-NCR in June. Due to the rate hike, the price of Mother Dairy’s full cream milk is now Rs 68 per litre, toned milk is Rs 56 and double toned milk is Rs 50 per litre. The price of buffalo milk has become Rs 72 per litre and the price of cow milk is Rs 58 per litre.
