Microsoft Outage: Indigo issued advisory for passengers, manual check-in started in these airports

Microsoft Technical Fault: The technical fault in Microsoft security system has affected many airlines. Passengers are facing a lot of problems at Mumbai, Goa, Delhi, Berlin, Sydney airports. Airline company Indigo has issued an advisory for its passengers.

The company has said that the problem has increased at many Indigo centers. Due to this, the company has asked for 24 hours’ time. At the same time, the IT Ministry and the Civil Aviation Ministry are in touch with Microsoft. Manual check-in has started at many airports including Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna, Goa.

Indigo has issued a travel advisory, waiting time at the airport has increased

Airline company IndiGo has issued a travel advisory and said, ‘Our system has been affected by the problem with Microsoft Azure. Due to this, the waiting time at our contact centers and airports has increased. You may face slow check-in and long queues. We are constantly working to improve the system. Our digital team is constantly working with Microsoft Azure to solve the technical problem.’

You should call only if you are traveling in the next 24 hours.

Delhi Airport has issued a statement saying, ‘We are working closely with all stakeholders to minimize the inconvenience of our passengers. Passengers are requested to stay in touch with the concerned airline or ground help desk for updated flight information. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our passengers. Apart from Indigo, Air India, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines and SpiceJet airlines have been affected.
