HDFC Bank’s UPI service will not be available tonight, customers should finish their work first

HDFC Bank : If you are a customer of HDFC Bank and use UPI service, then there is important news for you. HDFC Bank is going to shut down its UPI service for some time tonight and on Saturday morning, 10 August 2024.

The bank has informed its customers about this scheduled downtime through email, during which UPI services will not be available.

UPI service shutdown time

According to the email sent by the bank, HDFC Bank’s UPI service will be temporarily closed tonight and on Saturday morning, 10 August 2024 from 2:30 am to 5:30 am. That is, for a full three hours, the bank’s customers will not be able to do any kind of transaction through UPI. This downtime is being done by the bank for necessary maintenance in its system, so that customers can get better service in future.

Which services will be affected?

During this scheduled maintenance, financial and non-financial transactions will be affected for HDFC Bank current and savings account (CASA) holders. Customers will not be able to do all financial and non-financial transactions related to HDFC Bank accounts through apps like HDFC Bank mobile banking app, Google Pay, WhatsApp Pay, PayTM, Shriram Finance and Mobikwik. All types of UPI transactions will remain closed during this period.

UPI Limit in HDFC Bank

According to HDFC Bank, the limit for P2P (person to person) transactions is currently Rs 1 lakh or 20 transactions per 24 hours. UPI (Unified Payment Interface) is a smartphone-based fund transfer service that allows customers to send and receive money using a unique UPI ID. This system links customers’ bank accounts to each other, allowing them to exchange money easily and quickly. Customers of HDFC Bank as well as other partner banks can use UPI.

HDFC Bank customers should finish their work first

During this scheduled downtime, all types of transactions will be temporarily closed. Keeping in mind your banking needs, you can do your important transactions ahead of time.
