Ayushman Bharat Yojana: The government is running the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to provide free treatment facilities in good hospitals to the poor section of the country.
A card is made for the people included in this scheme, which is called Ayushman Card. With the help of this card, treatment can be done in government as well as private hospitals. A large number of hospitals are registered in the Ayushman scheme across the country. An Ayushman card holder can get treatment in any hospital included in the panel of Ayushman Yojana.
Many times it happens that the hospital included in the panel of Ayushman Yojana refuses to treat the Ayushman card holder. In such a situation, the Ayushman card holder has to pay money from his pocket for the treatment. But, the hospital included in the panel cannot refuse to treat the disease included in this scheme with the Ayushman card. Due to lack of information among the people, some hospitals refuse to treat. The patient also does not complain about this due to lack of information.

In the hospitals included in the panel of Ayushman Yojana, free treatment upto Rs. 5 lakhs can be availed. If the hospital refuses to provide free treatment, do not sit idle. Register your complaint through toll free number and portal. 14555 is a national level toll free number of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. A citizen living in any state of the country can register a complaint on this number. Apart from Hindi and English, complaints are registered here in other languages of the country as well.

Toll free numbers have been issued for different states. People living in Uttar Pradesh can register their complaints on 180018004444. For residents of Madhya Pradesh, the toll free number is 18002332085. Similarly, people living in Bihar can register their complaints related to Ayushman Yojana on 104 and citizens of Uttarakhand can register their complaints on 155368 and 18001805368.
