A major accident was averted at Goa’s Dabolim airport. Here a bird collided with an Air India plane flying to Mumbai on Wednesday morning. Due to this the flight had to be cancelled.
According to the information, this incident happened at around 6.45 am when the Air India flight was about to take off for Goa. According to a senior airport official, after this incident the flight has been cancelled and the plane has been parked in the bay for further investigation.
Giving information about the incident, the official said that today at 6.45 am, when the Air India plane was about to take off for Mumbai from Dabolim Airport in South Goa, a bird collided with the flight. After the incident, the flight had to be stopped on the runway itself. At present, the matter is under investigation and the plane has been parked in the bay for further investigation.
