The new Aadhaar app will be completely secure, which ensures that the data related to Aadhaar will not be leaked anywhere. Face authentication can be done through this app. Any person will have complete control over his personal information. Only as much information related to Aadhaar will be shared with another person as is necessary.

Till now, in the name of Aadhaar verification, any person’s name, address, mobile number and other personal information is sought. Whereas no one needs that much information. About 750 people including senior policy makers, experts, technocrats and professionals participated in the program.

Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, praised UIDAI for enabling the expansion of Aadhaar usage. At the same time, UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar said that Aadhaar face authentication is becoming the hallmark of the entire authentication landscape. The Aadhaar ecosystem has grown.
