It is being said that this phone will run on the custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform and will have a 4400mAh battery. The support page of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has also gone live on Samsung India’s website. The support page confirms that Samsung may soon launch a new smartphone with the SM-F956B/DS model number in India. The D/S in the model number hints at the upcoming Samsung smartphone having a dual SIM card slot. The SM-F956B/DS model number has been seen in several certifications before.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (expected)
According to a report by Smartprix, the Z Fold 6 can have a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X QXGA+ 120Hz main and a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz HD Plus cover display. Both can get S Pen support. The phone can come with octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and can sport up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. It can have a 4400mAh battery. New Galaxy AI features are expected to be available in the software. Let us tell you that the old model i.e. Galaxy Z Fold 5 had a 6.2-inch cover screen.
Talking about photography, the smartphone will have a triple rear camera setup, which can have a 50-megapixel OIS main + 12-megapixel ultrawide + 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 30X digital zoom. For selfies, the phone can have a 4-megapixel under-display sensor and a 10-megapixel front camera on the cover screen. It is being said that the rear camera setup will support 8K video shooting at 30fps.
Talking about connectivity, the device is likely to have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C port. A side-mounted fingerprint reader can be provided on the device. It can weigh 239 grams and its thickness can be 12.1 mm when folded and 5.6 mm when unfolded.

According to the news outlet, the phone’s price may increase this year. The foldable phone is expected to start at $1899.99 (256GB) in the US or around Rs 1,69,999 in India. It is expected to launch in three colour options – Navy, Pink and Silver Shadow. It may also launch in 512GB and 1TB trims, which could be priced at $2019.99 and $2259.99.
