Concession for Senior Citizens: The matter of concessions given to senior citizens by the Railways (Indian Railways) is once again in the headlines.
Before the Corona period, the Railways used to give concessions like a good discount in fares to senior citizens, but during the lockdown in the Corona period, trains were also banned. Later, when the outbreak of the epidemic subsided, trains started again but those concessions have not been restarted till date. There has been a continuous demand regarding this, but the Railways has not yet restarted the concessions given to senior citizens.
