Jio brought new plan: Unlimited 5G data and free calls daily for 98 days, see plan details

Reliance Jio has quietly launched a new prepaid plan of Rs 999 for its customers. Although even before the tariff hike, the company used to offer a plan of Rs 999, but after the hike, the price of the plan became Rs 1199.

But now Jio has come up with a new plan of Rs 999 for the customers. This Rs 999 plan has ‘Hero 5G’ written on Jio’s website. This plan is now available for recharge for all Jio prepaid customers in India. It is worth noting that the old Rs 999 plan used to offer 3GB of data daily, but the new Rs 999 plan offers 2GB of data daily. So this is also an increase in a way. Jio brought a new plan of 999 rupees

Jio’s Rs 999 plan comes with a validity of 98 days. In this plan with a unique validity of 98 days, customers will get unlimited voice calling, daily 100 SMS and daily 2GB data, that is, customers will get a total of 196GB data during the entire validity. Now since this is a plan with daily 2GB data, it also comes with unlimited 5G data.

That is, if you have a 5G phone and Jio’s 5G network has reached your area, then you can avail unlimited 5G data for free. In terms of price and validity, the daily cost of this plan will be Rs 10.19. This plan also includes access to Jio TV, Jio Cloud and Jio Cinema. After the 2GB daily limit is exhausted, the internet speed will decrease to 64 Kbps.

Earlier, the validity was 84 days

Before the tariff hike, the Rs 999 plan came with a validity of 84 days and 3GB daily data. So, at that time, the plan cost Rs 11.89 per day. However, the average data cost was much lower, at just Rs 3.96 for 1GB. Now, after the validity of the plan has been increased to 98 days, the daily cost has gone down but the average cost of 1GB data has increased.
