The Indian Postal Department has started the application process for the recruitment of more than 44 thousand posts of Gramin Dak Sevak in post offices located in its various circles across the country (India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024) from Monday, July 15.
After the technical problems on the first day on the official portal of this recruitment indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in, the application process is now going on.
The Indian Postal Department has started the application process for the recruitment of more than 44 thousand Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) from Monday, July 15. Applications for this recruitment are being accepted in online mode on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. On the first day, users were facing problems in applying on this website due to technical reasons. However, now the process has been started by removing them and interested candidates can apply till the last date of August 5.

India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024: Apply in three steps
Candidates should note that the Indian Postal Department has created 3 stages of application process for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks – registration, application and payment of recruitment fee. The link for all these three steps has been activated on the portal. The application fee is fixed at Rs 100, which has to be paid through online means. However, female candidates of all categories as well as applicants of SC/ST, Divyang and Transwomen category are not required to pay the fee.

India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024: Know the eligibility before applying
According to the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment Notification issued by the Postal Department, 10th pass candidates from a recognized board can apply. The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years on the last date of application (5 August 2024).
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC / ST, OBC, etc.) will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the Central Government, see the notification for more information and other details.
