RBI releases a holiday calendar for all banks every month. In December, banks will remain closed on Guru Ghasidas Jayanti, Guru Teg Bahadur Martyrdom Day, Human Rights Day, Goa Liberation Day. Including the second and last Saturday and Sunday, there will be 17 bank holidays in this month.

  • 18th December Wednesday – (Guru Ghasidas Jayanti) Banks closed in Chandigarh
  • 19th December Thursday – (Goa Liberation Day) Banks closed in Goa
  • 22nd December Sunday – Weekly Holiday
