On the occasion of Holika Dahan, banks will remain closed in states like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Kerala. Government and private banks will remain closed on this day in these states. However, bank branches will remain open in Delhi, Mumbai and other states. People perform religious rituals on the day of Holika Dahan.

They celebrate it enthusiastically with family and society. For this reason, many states declare public holiday on this day. Bank customers are advised that if they have to go to a bank branch, they can complete their work on March 12.

Sunday, March 16 – Banks will remain closed in all states.

Saturday, March 22 – Banks will remain closed as it is the fourth Saturday.

Sunday, March 23 – Banks will be closed across India.

Saturday, March 22 – Banks will remain closed in Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Day.

Thursday, March 27 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on account of Shab-e-Qadr.

Friday, March 28 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on account of Jumma-tul-Vida.

Sunday, March 30 – Banks will be closed across India.

Monday, March 31 – Banks will remain closed in most states of India due to Eid-ul-Fitr, but banks will remain open in Mizoram and Himachal Pradesh.

Bank holidays are different according to the states

It is important to note that every state has its own separate bank holiday list. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the list of bank holidays according to each state on its official website. If you have to go to the bank branch to get some work done, then first check the list of holidays of your state.

Online banking service will remain operational
