The Meteorological Department says that most of the country is in the grip of a cold wave. The temperature in North India is continuously falling. The Meteorological Department said that on Thursday, the maximum temperature in Delhi NCR dropped to 15 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature fell to 7.6. Since the beginning of the new year, cold has increased in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as well as Delhi NCR. The coming weeks are going to be very important. The Meteorological Department said that there may be rain in Delhi-NCR in the beginning of next week, after which the temperature may drop further. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog in various states from Haryana to Odisha.

Conditions in Bihar-Uttar Pradesh

The Meteorological Department said that there is severe cold with dense fog in North India. Along with this, the entire state is in the grip of cold wave. Areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are also under the grip of cold wave. The condition of Punjab, Haryana, western Rajasthan, some parts of Gujarat and some parts of Madhya Pradesh is even worse. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature has fallen by three to four degrees Celsius in many areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Cold wave may increase further in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the coming days.
