Weather Forecast: 21 cities will be affected by heat wave, IMD has issued warning for 5 states

Weather Forecast: The heat has broken all records in the month of April itself. A severe heat alert has been issued in 5 states including Delhi. The heat is being felt more due to the decrease in wind speed. The temperature in Barmer, Rajasthan has reached 45.6 degrees Celsius.

This time, the scorching heat has broken records across the country since the beginning of April. Temperatures above 42 degrees Celsius have been recorded in 21 cities of five states including Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi will have to grapple with severe heat for the next three days. Heat wave will continue to wreak havoc in many parts of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is being felt more intense due to the decrease in wind speed at this time. Today (Monday) the wind speed will be 8-10 kilometers per hour in the morning, which can decrease to 4-6 kilometers per hour by afternoon, due to which the heat conditions can become even more severe.

Temperature started rising in Rajasthan

This time the highest temperature was recorded in the first week of April in Barmer, Rajasthan. On Sunday, a temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius was recorded here which was 6.8 degrees more than normal.

Apart from this, heat wave alert has been issued in Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has warned of heat wave in many parts of Gujarat from 6 to 10 April. Along with this, heat wave has also been predicted in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Weather forecast from 6 to 11 April:

6 April: Max 40°C, Min 20°C
7 April: Max 41°C, Min 21°C
8 April: Max 41°C, Min 22°C
9-11 April: Max 40°C, Min 22°C

The effect of heat will be seen in the eastern states as well, especially in Uttar Pradesh (eastern region), Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha, heat wave is expected on April 10 and 11. The Meteorological Department has issued heat wave alerts in these states as well.
