Student visa fee increased from $300 to $485

At present, after China, Indian students come second in number in New Zealand. The number of Indians among foreign students is 17 percent. But, now the student visa fee in New Zealand has been increased from 300 dollars to 485 dollars. According to the Business Standard report, this increased visa fee has come into effect from October 1. We want this financial burden to be put on the visa holders instead of the taxpayers.

Tourist visa fee increased from $190 to $300

According to Education New Zealand, the fee for tourist visa has also been increased from $190 to $300. Erica Stanford said that with the increased fee, we will be able to reduce the cost of visa process. Due to this, the government will save about $563 million in 4 years. She said that our visa fee is still less than Australia and Britain. The visa fee in the Entrepreneur Residence Category has now increased from $3,710 to $11,320. Apart from this, in the Active Investor Category also, now $12,070 will have to be paid instead of $4,630.
