Swiggy UPI System: Food delivery platform Swiggy today announced the launch of Swiggy UPI service. The company has integrated the UPI Plugin of National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) to provide better payment experience to customers.
This new service is powered by Hyper UPI Plugin of Juspay. Customers can now make payments using the Swiggy app. Earlier, users had to use another platform to make payments. That is, with the introduction of Swiggy UPI service, the payment process has become easier. Users will now have to go through only one step instead of five steps for this.

Anurag Panganamamula, Revenue and Growth Head, Swiggy said on this occasion, “We are very happy to launch UPI service for our customers. UPI is one of the most preferred payment options. In such a situation, this option is in line with Swiggy’s mission to provide better convenience to consumers. This will help in simplifying transactions and reducing failed transactions. We believe that this facility will improve the consumer experience on Swiggy.”
How to set up Swiggy UPI?
Customers can link their bank account by going to the app’s payments page and selecting Swiggy UPI. After this setup, they will only need to enter their UPI PIN for every transaction.
Swiggy has taken this step to reduce transaction time and increase efficiency. Swiggy UPI provides a simpler user interface by removing redirections to third-party apps. This reduces the transaction time from 15 seconds to just 5 seconds.
