Stock Market Holiday Good Friday 18 April 2025 : Indian stock market BSE and NSE are going to be closed for three days from tomorrow. Tomorrow, on Friday, April 18, 2025, the stock market will be closed on the occasion of Good Friday.
After this, the stock market is going to be closed for 3 days due to regular weekend holiday on Saturday and Sunday. Now regular business i.e. trading in the stock market will resume from Monday 21 April 2025. During this time there will be no trading or settlement in equity, derivatives and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments in NSE and BSE.
Commodity market will also remain closed on Friday
On Good Friday, both the sessions of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX)—morning and evening trading—will be completely closed. Apart from this, there will be no trading on the country’s largest agri commodity exchange, National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).

After Good Friday, the next market holiday will be on Maharashtra Day on May 1, 2025. Apart from this, a complete list of when the stock market will remain closed in 2025 has been given. Muhurat trading may be organized on the day of Diwali Laxmi Pujan, which will be announced later. Investors are advised to plan their trading plans keeping these holidays in mind.
