Share Market Holidays in August : The stock market is going to remain closed for three days next week. The stock market remains closed due to all major festivals or days. When the stock market is closed, there is no trading in equity, equity derivatives, SLB, currency derivatives and interest derivatives.
There are festivals like Independence Day, Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami in August. Both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) of the stock market remain closed every Saturday and Sunday. Next week is 15th August, i.e. Independence Day. The stock market will be closed on Thursday, 15th August. BSE and NSE will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no work in the stock market for three days next week. The stock market and MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) will also be closed only on Independence Day in August apart from Saturday and Sunday.
