Keeping in mind the severe cold and cold wave, holidays have been extended in schools from nursery to class 12th. Now all schools will reopen from January 13. District School Inspector Chandrashekhar issued an order on Wednesday and said that this decision has been taken in view of the weather department’s forecast.
Scope of the order
This holiday will be applicable to all government, aided, unaided secondary schools in Agra district as well as schools of CBSE, CISCE and other boards. However, the order will not be valid for residential schools.
Not only will studies be suspended during the holidays, but no internal exams or practical exams will be conducted. The purpose of this is to protect students and teachers from the effects of cold.
Instructions for informing parents
The school management has been instructed to inform all the parents about the holiday on time. If any school is found open during this period, strict action will be taken against it.
Schools will open on 13 January
Under this order, all schools will remain closed till January 11. Since January 12 is Sunday, schools will now be opened regularly from Monday, January 13. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers. This holiday will prove to be a relief in the harsh cold.
