The month of September is special because it has many important festivals and holidays. This year, a long list of holidays has been released due to festivals in September 2024. This month will be a relief for banks, schools and offices, especially in the second week, 4 holidays are going to be available together.
4 consecutive holidays from 13th to 16th September
13th September: All government and private schools in Rajasthan will remain closed on the occasion of Ramdev Jayanti, Teja Dashami, and Khejadli Martyr’s Day.
September 14: Being the second Saturday, banks and government offices will remain closed. Along with this, Onam festival will also be celebrated all over India, especially in Kerala.
September 15: Sunday will be a holiday as usual. Apart from this, Thiruvonam festival will also be celebrated in Kerala, due to which there will be a holiday in the entire state.
16 September: Eid-e-Milad or Barawafat festival will be celebrated, which is a special occasion for the Muslim community. Schools, banks and offices will remain closed on this day too.
