Police Constable Recruitment: Recruitment for more than 4000 posts of Police Constable, check the complete list of documents

JKSSB Constable Recruitment Registration: Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a recruitment notification for constable posts. Interested and eligible persons can apply by visiting the official website jkssb.nic.in.

The target of the recruitment drive is to fill a total of 4,002 posts. The registration process is going to start from July 30, the deadline for which has been fixed as August 29. Admit cards will be issued about a week before the exam.

JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2024: Domicile

candidates applying for the vacant posts must be residents of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.

JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process consists of written examination, physical standard test and physical endurance test.

JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern

The written exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions.
The paper will be in English only.
One-fourth of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for wrong answers.

JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 700. For SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS category candidates, the fee is Rs 600. The fee can be paid online through net banking, credit card or debit card. Applications made without the fee will not be considered and will be rejected.

Candidates must provide their online application form, email ID, mobile number, name, date of birth and name of the exam in all communications to the board. Forms filled without these details will not be considered.

Candidates must bring a printout of the Admit Card/Roll Number Card/Slip to the examination hall. Apart from this, they must bring at least two latest (not older than 6 months) passport size colour photographs and a valid original photo ID proof letter.

Document verification

Shortlisted candidates for document verification are required to appear with original documents and self attested photocopies of each document/certificate/online application form as per the notification.

Candidates must possess required educational qualification and other documents like Birth Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Category Certificate etc. on or before the last date of submission of online application.
