The country’s financial capital Mumbai has been receiving heavy rainfall for the last several days. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai. Heavy rains have been predicted in different areas.
Orange alert has also been issued for Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts of Konkan region of Maharashtra. Heavy rains occurred in Mumbai on Saturday morning. Due to which many areas including APMC Market, Turbhe Mafco, Navi Mumbai and Kings Circle were waterlogged. A ‘high tide’ warning has also been issued in Mumbai today. Today at 4:06 pm, the height of waves can be seen up to 3.87 meters.
The temperature of Mumbai today is expected to be between 29 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius. A yellow alert has been issued in Mumbai till July 15. In such a situation, Mumbaikars may have to face heavy rains in the coming time.

Heavy rains affect trains
Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, local trains and mail express trains have been affected. Central Railways has changed the timing of train number 22119 CSMT-Madgaon Tejas Express. This train will run 2 hours late. This train was scheduled to leave from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai at 5:50 am, but now it left at 7:50 am. At the same time, the timing of train number 22113, LTT-KCVL Superfast Express has been changed. This train leaves from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 4:45 pm. Now this train will leave at 11:45 pm with a delay of 7 hours.
Heavy rain expected in Raigad
Let us tell you that Mumbai has been receiving heavy rains since Saturday morning. Due to which many areas including APMC Market, Turbhe Mafco, Navi Mumbai and Kings Circle are flooded. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Raigad district by 10 pm. ‘Moderate’ rain is expected in Thane and all the suburbs of Mumbai.
