Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in some places in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Champawat and Nainital districts. There is a possibility of lightning and thunder and heavy to very heavy rain in some other districts of the state.

The temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 24.6 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 26.2 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
