LPG Price Hike: LPG cylinder became costlier by Rs 62 from today, know the new rates

With the beginning of the new month, the price of LPG cylinder has been increased. From today, the price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 62. Oil companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder (19kg LPG Price). Companies have not made any change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cylinders, that is, there has been no change in the price of LPG cylinders. According to the IOCL website, new rates have come into effect from today, 1 November 2024.

The prices of LPG gas cylinders are fixed on the first of every month. Oil companies increase the price of LPG gas according to their expenses and inflation. This time the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has been increased. In Delhi, the price of the cylinder has increased from Rs 1740 to Rs 1802.

In Kolkata, the cylinder has gone up from Rs 1850.50 to Rs 1911.50. In Mumbai, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1754 instead of Rs 1692.50. In Chennai, the cylinder has gone up from Rs 1903 to Rs 1964.

There is no change in the price of LPG

There has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. Its prices have remained stable for the last few months. This cylinder is available at the rates of August 2024. Its price is ₹ 803 in Delhi, ₹ 829 in Kolkata, ₹ 802.50 in Mumbai, and ₹ 818.50 in Chennai. For general customers, its price in Delhi remains ₹ 803, while for the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, its price is ₹ 603. The government had reduced the price of this cylinder by about ₹ 100 in August 2023.

Prices had also increased in October.

In October too, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder had increased. In Delhi, LPG commercial cylinder had increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1740. On the other hand, commercial LPG cylinder in Mumbai had become Rs 1692.50, in Kolkata Rs 1850.50 and in Chennai Rs 1903. Earlier in September too, the rate of LPG cylinder had increased by about Rs 39 to Rs 1691.50.
