Indian Railways Sangyaan App: Indian Railways provides many facilities to the passengers. Now the Railways has launched ‘Sangyaan App’ for Railway Protection Force (RPF). Railway Protection Force (RPF) Chief Manoj Yadav said that in-depth information about three new criminal laws will be available on the Sangyaan app.
This app will work smoothly from July. The information about this app was given by the Railway Board itself. Enacted last year, the Indian Justice Code (BNS), Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) and Indian Evidence Act (BSA) are set to replace the British-era Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure and Indian Evidence Act respectively.
The Railway Board said that this app is available on both Android and iOS. The purpose of this app is to make the provisions of both new and old criminal laws easily understandable to RPF personnel. This app will have comprehensive information about these criminal laws.
What is the specialty of Sangyan App
- In this app, all RPF personnel will get information about BNS, BNSS and BSA Act. RPF personnel can easily read, research or give reference about criminal laws.
- Apart from this, with the help of the comparison table present on this app, they can easily compare the old and new criminal laws. With the help of this table, they can understand the changes in criminal laws and can also prepare a legal framework.
- An advanced search tool is also available on the Sangyan app. With the help of this tool, you can know about railway legal acts and rules related to railway security. The Railway Board said that this app also includes Railway Protection Force Act- 1957, Railway Act-1989, Railway Property (Illegal Occupation) Act- 1966 and RPF Rules- 1987.
Regarding the Sanjna app, the Railway Board said that all the legal information related to railway protection is available on this app. Apart from this, the Director General of Railway Protection Force has also released a ‘Booklet on Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS), 2023’ in both e-book and print formats. E-book and print will also help a lot in understanding the criminal laws.
