Vande Bharat will run from Katra to Baramulla

Passengers will get a very comfortable travel experience in trains going to Srinagar. But there will be no second class sleeper coaches in it. Earlier it was expected that Vande Bharat Sleeper Train would be started on the Kashmir route. But now the news is that Vande Bharat train will be operated to go from Katra to Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir. According to TOI, a senior railway official told in a conversation that a new Vande Bharat train will be run to go from Katra to Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir. This train will have eight chair car coaches.

Special arrangements have been made in the train in view of the cold

. Jammu and Kashmir is very cold, keeping this in mind, special arrangements have been made in the train. Like water will not freeze in it. Actually, there is often a complaint of water freezing in the train tanks during winters. To get relief from this kind of problem, heaters have been installed in these tanks. Apart from this, warm air will come in the train toilet to protect the passengers from cold. This kind of arrangement is being made for the first time in the trains of the country. The glass in front of the loco pilot of the train will also be equipped with a heater, so that ice will not freeze on it. The glass will remain warm even in extreme cold.

After the start of this train, the 246 km journey from Katra to Baramulla will be reduced to three and a half hours. Currently, it takes 10 hours to complete this journey. Baramulla railway station is 57 km from Srinagar. Lakhs of devotees come to Katra, the gateway of Mata Vaishno Devi temple. There is a 16 coach Vande Bharat Express to reach here from New Delhi, which runs six days a week. A railway official said that soon a new Vande Bharat train will run from Katra to Baramulla.

The train from Katra to Baramulla is expected to start by the end of next month i.e. January. If you want to go to Srinagar or Baramulla, you can first go from Delhi to Katra by the existing Vande Bharat train. After this, you can go from Katra to Srinagar or Baramulla by a new train. Apart from this, there is also a plan to start a train directly from Delhi to Baramulla.
