India Post GDS Merit List 2024: The Indian Postal Department will recruit 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak posts in 23 postal circles across the country. The merit list or result can be released anytime.
Candidates will be able to check the first merit list by visiting the official website of Indian Post indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
The Indian Postal Department will soon release the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Merit List or Result 2024. Once the merit list is released, registered candidates will be able to check and download the preliminary merit list by visiting the official website of India Post indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Cutoff marks and additional details are also expected to be released along with the merit list. A total of 44,228 vacancies will be filled in postal circles through this recruitment drive.
How is the merit list prepared?
India Post will prepare the merit list based on the marks or grades/marks obtained in the 10th class secondary school examination from a recognized board, calculated with an accuracy of four decimal places. The Department of Posts has not yet announced the date of releasing the merit list or result, it can be released anytime.

Step 3: A new page will open, check the PDF merit list here.
Step 4: Download the merit list for further use and keep a printout with you.
What after the release of the merit list?
Candidates selected from the merit list will have to undergo a physical verification process. The dates for the verification can be announced along with the release of the merit list. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for the latest updates.
How much salary will you get?
Salary for Gramin Dak Sevak posts in the Postal Department ranges from Rs 12,000 to Rs 16,000 per month depending on the specific role and location. GDS, BPM and ABPM posts may also include additional benefits such as medical insurance and allowances as per government rules.

The application correction window was open from 6 to 8 August 2024. For this recruitment, candidates must have passed class 10 (matriculation) examination from a recognized board.
The minimum age to apply should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years. Age relaxation is given to candidates falling in the reserved category. However, the age limit may vary post wise.
