The police have made an announcement through the mike to alert everyone. The work going on under the master plan has stopped. The alternative route has also been washed away.
The water level of Alaknanda in Badrinath Dham of Uttarakhand is continuously rising. The river is flowing above the danger mark. Keeping in mind the safety of the pilgrims and local people, the administration has appealed to the people not to go to the river bank. Also, Taptkund has also been evacuated. Due to the rising water level of the river, the alternative route built for the master plan works in Badrinath Dham has been washed away.
Due to this, the work of the river front has stopped in this area. There are also reports of some machines of the company being stuck here. This route was built to transport dumpers, JCB machines and workers to the work site. In such a situation, efforts are being made to prepare an alternative route from another place, so that the work of the river front can be started again.

Monsoon rains continue in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains in many districts of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has appealed to people to travel on hilly routes only if absolutely necessary.
