At present, there are still a large number of people who do not have a smartphone. This means that a large population uses feature phones, which are far away from the internet facility. For such mobile users, the National Payment Corporation of India, ie NPCI, has provided the facility of online payment without smartphone and internet.
Transfer money without smartphone and internet
In such a situation, if you do not have a smartphone. Or there is no internet in the phone, then you can make online payment without smartphone and internet. UPI payment can be done using UPI123Pay. To make UPI payment without internet, USSD service should be active in your phone. Also, there should be money in your bank account. Please note that the limit of UPI payment without internet is ₹ 2000 per transaction and ₹ 10000 per day.

How to make UPI payment
- First of all dial 99# on your phone.
- After this you will have to select 1 option.
- Then you have to select the type of transaction.
- After this, enter the UPI ID, phone number or bank account number of the person to whom you want to send the money.
- Then enter the amount of payment you want to send.
- Enter your UPI PIN.
- After this tap on “Send”.
Note – Please note that only a few banks provide the facility to make UPI payments without internet using USSD code.
