The state police headquarters has taken strict measures to maintain law and order and communal harmony during Durga Puja in Bihar.
Sharadiya Navratri is starting from October 3, and keeping this in mind, an order has been issued by the police headquarters on September 27 that the leaves of all policemen will be canceled from October 5 to 16.
Policemen have been instructed to keep an eye on law and order at every place during this time. Leave will be given only in special circumstances. During Durga Puja, a large number of people flock to pandals and fairs, so there will be extensive deployment of police. The purpose of this order is to prevent any kind of crime and communal tension during the festival time, so that peace and security can be ensured.
