Now people in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh will not have to make rounds to get their birth certificates made. A notice has been pasted for the people by the corporation office. The notice has shared with the people the information about what documents will be required to get a birth certificate made. This notice will provide a lot of convenience to the people.

The period for issuing birth certificate is 15 days

Now people will not have to wander here and there to get their certificates made in room number-2 of the Municipal Corporation office of Mathura city, Birth and Death Certificate Department. The Birth and Death Department has put up a notice keeping in mind the convenience of the people. In this notice, the department has shared information with the people about the documents required for birth and death certificates. People have been told through the notice that which documents will be required to get a birth or death certificate. Babu Govind Chauhan of the Birth and Death Department, while giving information, said that if a person wants to get a birth certificate made, then he must bring these documents with him.

These documents are required for birth certificate

Submit the online receipt of birth in the hospital along with the Aadhar card of the parents and an application form in the office. For older children, bring the school related documents and submit them here. Their record will be checked in the office. For children who are born at home, an affidavit of one month and permission from SDM sahab after one year is required.

Documents for death certificate

1. ID of the deceased (Aadhaar, Voter Card, Ration Card, Bank Pass Book etc.)

2. Informant’s ID (Aadhar, Voter Card, Ration Card, Bank Pass Book etc.)

3. Cremation ground / cemetery receipt / cremation material receipt

4.2 Witness ID (Aadhar, Voter Card, Ration Card, Bank Pass Book etc.)

5. Letter pad of your ward councillor

6. An affidavit after 21 days

7. An affidavit after 1 year on the order of the Pargana Magistrate(SDM)

8. In accidental cases, police FIR, copy of postmortem, affidavit

9. Affidavits and photographs of witnesses after 2 years of death
