New Delhi. The country’s second largest telecom service provider Airtel is facing an outage today on 26 December. Due to this, thousands of Airtel users are facing connectivity problems. According to Downdetector, 3000 Airtel users have complained about this.
Out of these, 47 users have complained about mobile internet not working. Whereas 30 percent users have said that there is a total blackout. While 23 percent users have complained about no mobile signal. However, Airtel has not yet issued any statement in this regard. But users are definitely getting angry due to this interruption.
Airtel users are venting their anger on X
, they vented their anger on the internet and calling system being shut down. For this they chose X (earlier it was Twitter) platform. According to the complaints and reports received on X, Airtel outage has affected the users of Gujarat the most.
Some users posted on X – Is anyone else experiencing network downtime at @airtelindia in Ahmedabad? One user wrote that almost all Airtel SIM users in my office are not getting network.
Another user wrote that Airtel broadband and mobile services are all down, there is no network on mobile and broadband.
Broadband users were also affected
This outage also affected Airtel’s broadband users. Businesses or offices that depend on Airtel internet services faced problems today. Airtel’s outage disrupted the operations of businesses. Even many employees who are working from home were unable to join virtual meetings or access cloud-based resources. For homes, streaming services stopped working and students who are doing online classes were suddenly stopped.
